Why does a new computer need professional setup?

New computers ship unconfigured. System and security updates haven’t been applied, the interface isn’t personalized, and preloaded trial software can add unnecessary clutter. Proper initial setup ensures your computer is updated, configured, and ready for your needs.

When is the right time to upgrade instead of buying new?

Upgrading makes sense when the slowdown comes from software issues or an upgradeable hardware component. A RAM upgrade or a system refresh often restores speed for far less than replacement. If your computer’s core hardware is genuinely outdated for what you need, we’ll say so and help you choose the replacement.

Can you move everything from my old computer?

Yes. We can transfer files, photos, documents, email, and bookmarks. We’ll also confirm everything arrived before the old machine is wiped or retired.

The preloaded Office on my new computer expired. Now what?

New computers usually include only a trial of Microsoft Office. We can install and set up the version that fits your needs, and show you the basics if it’s new to you.

Will you teach me how to use the new machine?

Yes. We can provide hands-on instruction during setup to help you get comfortable with your new computer. One-on-one computer lessons are also available for more in-depth help.
